Optimizing Maintenance with SR::SPC

The manufacturer of gearless wind turbines, based in Neunkirchen/Wellesweiler in the Saarland, decided in 2017 to implement the SR::SPC predictive analytics system from Iqony Solutions (IQS) to monitor the wind turbines under service contracts with VENSYS.

Following a comprehensive analysis of the data and optimization of the KPIs used, the predictive analytics system is currently being rolled out in phases. It automatically analyzes over 300 turbines daily across a wide range of configured process quality levels and, if necessary, notifies the operations team via the system’s integrated email distribution function. This allows for the early detection and resolution of impending changes in the plant process. Thus, monitoring with SR::SPC enables a profound optimization of the entire maintenance process, from personnel planning to spare parts logistics.
