For over 15 years, we have been developing and operating wind farms across Europe, always taking care to respect nature and the environment. We currently own 16 onshore wind farms, and our aim is to continue growing in order to drive the energy transition forward. Supporting local communities and ensuring the long-term success of our projects are our top priorities.
With offices in London and Knutsford, Iqony Renewables’ UK subsidiary operates across the United Kingdom. The team is responsible for project development, planning, construction, and the maintenance and operation of ground-mounted solar farms.
Mosbach Wind Project
A wind farm is planned for Mosbach that, once completed, will make a significant contribution to a sustainable and climate-neutral energy supply. Upon completion (2028), it is expected to generate approximately 27 MW of power. This means the wind farm will produce enough green energy to meet the annual electricity needs of about 22,000 households.
Küpfendorf Solar Park
In just one year, Iqony Renewables constructed a 25 MWp solar park in southern Germany for the company Vento Ludens. The nature of the soil presented a particular challenge. Due to the rocky subsoil, drilling was required to anchor the pile foundations of the module tables into the ground.
Groitzsch Solar Park
Within 12 months, Iqony Renewables completed a 37 MWp solar park for MIBRAG GmbH at the Vereinigtes Schleenhain open-pit mine. The fact that the site had already been used for mining posed a particular challenge for the project. The 55-hectare site was recultivated in a terraced configuration across five levels, upon which the solar park was constructed in 16 sub-areas.
