Koblenz
In Koblenz, we operate a biomethane CHP plant, two natural gas boilers, and a district heating network. To ensure we can continue to reliably supply our customers with heat in the future, we are modernizing the network. The goal is to decommission older systems and replace them with more efficient and climate-friendly technology.
Camphausen
In Camphausen, we operate a combined heat and power plant and a district heating network extending to Fischbach-Camphausen and Sulzbach. By 2030, we will modernize our generation facilities: Old systems will be decommissioned and replaced with a heat pump, a new mine gas CHP unit, an electric boiler, and new mine gas boilers. To accommodate this, the network will be converted from steam to hot water.
Homburg
Together with Stadtwerke Homburg, we operate a district heating network. To ensure a reliable supply in the long term, we are investing in its modernization. This involves decommissioning older systems and replacing them with more climate-friendly and efficient technology.
